What is Eye-Fi?

The Eye-Fi card is a wireless memory card. It looks, stores media, and fits into cameras just like a regular SDHC card. On top of that, the Eye-Fi card has built-in Wi-Fi that uses your wireless network to effortlessly transfer photos. This means that instead of manually transferring the images from your camera to your computer, the images can be wirelessly transmitted as you take them.

Why use Eye-Fi with Auction Flex?

If you have a dedicated cataloging station wherein you describe a lot and take the pictures at the same time, utilizing the Eye-Fi wireless card can be a huge time saver. Auction Flex will automatically attach the images you take with your camera to the lot you are currently working on. 

Which Eye-Fi Card to I Need?

We recommend the Eye-Fi Pro X2 which allows you to configure the Eye-Fi card in ad-hoc mode and doesn't require internet access for functionality (though it is required for initial setup). One word of warning, the Eye-Fi card can be difficult to setup initially and you may want to enlist the help of a local computer tech.
